We’re headed to the inaugural Green Bay Fringe Festival! Indulge in “Ask Me How Do I Feel”, a musical cabaret that weaves tales of love, heartbreak, and redemption through a captivating blend of art song, “Golden Age” and contemporary musical theatre, and pop melodies. Works by Norah Jones, Amy Beach, Rosśa Crean, the Beatles, Frank Loesser and more.

Friday, July 19 – 10:00 pm, Saturday, July 20 – 2:30 pm, and Sunday, July 21 – 4:00 pm

 

About the performers

Alexandra Plattos Sulack (she/her) is an award-winning performer, singer, teacher, and coach based in Chicago. She makes a habit of collaborating across genres and disciplines to create new works with music (Thompson Street Opera Company), puppetry (Forte Chicago, Cabinet of Curiosity), movement (Music for Theatre Chicago), and circus (Opera on Tap Chicago). She has been known to bring additional layers of fun and excitement to each performance where she’s received responses such as “Holy Sh*t!,” a bar patron, and “You’re a psycho,” Kaci The Siren. In addition to performing, Alexandra runs a private voice and artist development studio working with students across the United States.

Kent Paulsen is a multi-hyphenate musical whiz based in Green Bay. Kent is the Artistic Director of the Dudley Birder Chorale, the Director and Founder of the Knights on Broadway, and the Executive Director of the Youth Orchestra Program and the Youth Choirs, all at St. Norbert College, where Kent is also an adjunct member of the music faculty.  Kent is the Worship and Music Coordinator, Senior Choir Director, and Organist at Calvary Lutheran Church.  Kent also subs in as a keyboard player for touring Broadway shows at the Fox Valley Performing Arts Center and these subbing gigs have also led him to perform with those touring shows in San Diego and Minneapolis.
